Your banking works, the question is for who?

We help CFO’s and treasury teams reduce costs, restructure transaction banking and unlock millions trapped in inefficient pricing and product structures.

It's time to turn your banking into Revenue.

Who we are?

Our purpose is simple, to turn your banking into revenue

Bunjil Treasury is a 100% Indigenous owned consulting business specialising in transaction banking optimisation for corporates, government and indigenous organisations.

We help CFO’s and treasury teams identify inefficiencies in banking structures, reduce unnecessary cost, and improve commercial alignments of their financial arrangements.

In most organisations, transaction banking evolves over time into complex, layered structures that priorities bank economics over client outcomes. Our role is to bring clarity to those structures and ensure they are working in the best interests of the business rather than the institution providing them.

About our founder

Experience gained within global banking institutions, now sitting on your side of the table.

Bunjil Treasury is led by our founder David Dunne, who brings over two decades of experience across global financial institutions and corporate banking environments.

Davids career includes working in large scale international organisations such as the Nasdaq stock exchange, as well as nearly a decade across two of the Big 4 banks. A significant portion of this time was spent in corporate transaction banking, where he developed deep expertise in pricing structures, product design and client relationship models.

During this period, he observed how transaction baking is structured to embed multiple products and dependencies over time creating efficiency and revenue for banks, while creating complexity and reducing flexibility for clients. Corporates were often made to feel well served however the underlying commercial design was to make it more difficult to challenge pricing or transition providers.

A later move into Indigenous banking provided a different perspective on how banking structures can work for the businesses rather than the bank. It reinforced a clear opportunity: to apply deep banking knowledge on the client side, help organisations improve outcomes and profit from their transaction banking setup.

Bunjil Treasury was founded from that perspective shift - combining technical banking expertise with an independent, client focused model designed to unlock value and simplify complexity

Why Bunjil Treasury?

We know how bankers think… because we were one.

Bunjil Treasury is engaged for one reason: we deliver measurable outcomes in an area most organisations don’t challenge. With deep Transaction Banking experience, we know how banks structure, price, and defend their positions - and how to navigate that to your advantage. Our model is simple: If we don’t deliver value, you don’t pay.

  • We sit on your side - not the banks

  • We find and fix hidden banking costs

  • We deliver measurable savings or no fee

If you haven’t reviewed your banking, you’re probably overpaying.

Most corporates are overpaying for transaction banking, they just don’t know where. We do. If your current arrangements haven’t been challenged recently, there’s likely an opportunity to reduce costs, improve efficiency and unlock unpaid interest without impacting your team. Our model is simple: we don’t profit unless you do. If everything is already optimised, you pay nothing and gain the confidence your structure is working as it should.
